Godrej Properties Ltd has announce that its Godrej Garden City project in Ahmedabad, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri. Narendra Modi.
The master plan of Godrej Garden City has been created by world-renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) and the project’s construction will be carried out by L&T.
Spread over 250 acres of land, Godrej Garden City proposes to house over 13,000 apartments and villas, 40 acres of scenic landscaping and open areas, and vast commercial spaces.
Mr. Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej Properties said, “Godrej Garden City will be a world class, sustainably designed city within a city that gives its residents a well located, efficiently planned and designed development in which to live, work, and play. We are very pleased to be announcing the launch of this township within Ahmedabad, which is today one of India’s fastest growing and most exciting cities.”
- Facilities
Godrej Properties plans to create facilities for education, health-care, recreation, hospitality, retail and banking within the development. There will also be civic facilities and public utilities.
The project will be self-sufficient with the residents being able to attend to their daily needs within the development. Children will be two minutes away from their school. Residents can walk to work. On the weekends, you will be able to choose from the options of going to the mall, the Cineplex, the club, or the park.
The development will also benefit from multi-specialty hospital/clinics, ATM’s and other facilities within a short distance from any point in the township.
